The Analog Club is a weekly gathering for pre-teens and teens at Fresh Connections Laundry and Learning Center — a space where young people put down their phones, pick up something real, and discover what their hands can do.

Members come together for 2-hour weekly sessions to learn hands-on skills, play games, and explore all kinds of offline activities -- while also learning one of the most practical life skills there is: how to do laundry. Every session, members wash and fold a real load of clothes.
Sessions last 4 weeks - one class per week. Each session will focus on a different topic, skill, or game.

Space is limited to 8 - 15 members per session to keep things personal and hands-on.
Members are welcome to re-enroll each session.

In a world that moves fast and demands constant attention, analog activities offer something rare — the chance to slow down, focus, think, create, and relate. Research consistently shows that hands-on creative activities reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and patience, build fine motor skills, and give young people a genuine sense of accomplishment.

There is something powerful about making something with your hands. When a young person finishes their first row of knitting, wins their first card game, or completes a needlepoint stitch, they experience a kind of confidence that builds quietly and stays. Analog activities also create natural opportunities for conversation — when hands are busy and screens are away, people talk, listen, and connect in ways that feel easy and unforced. The Analog Club is designed around exactly those kinds of moments.
Join us and let's learn together.

We welcome instructors of all kinds — from teaching members how to play a classic card game like Spades to creating unique crafts, exploring fiber arts, or getting their hands dirty with container gardening. If you have a skill, a passion, or a hobby worth sharing, we want to hear from you. Complete a course proposal.
